Boles Paving has been delivering asphalt installation, repair and maintenance solutions for over 20 years. We can handle both commercial and residential jobs, large and small.
Asphalt Patching
Isolated areas of pavements that are beginning to fail but continue to have stable sub grade are good candidates for spot overlay repairs or patching. This is a relatively inexpensive repair where asphalt tack is applied and 1-2 inches of mix is placed over the area. This type of repair should be reserved for those areas that have only surface problems and do not have water frequently present.
Asphalt Overlay
Pavements that have begun to show problems but have not yet displayed significant sub grade trouble are good candidates for complete paving over with a new layer of asphalt. A second layer of mix can strengthen, reduce water infiltration and reduces the need for pavement cuts which weaken the existing pavement. Overlays also provide a much better-looking facility than spot patching..
Asphalt Replacement
When isolated areas have advanced to the stage of having some trouble in the pavement support structure, remove and replace may be the best option. In these situations, the existing pavement must be cut in an already weak area which can lead to more problems down the road. As conditions warrant, it may need to be accompanied with base repairs. This method should be used only where overlay options will not hold.
Seal Coating
Coal Tar and other sealers insure long term performance of asphalts and can reduce the adverse effects of UV rays, oil drippings, and other environment effects. Their modest preservation benefits alone justify their use simply for extending the life of a pavement. Pavement sealer can significantly improve the curb appeal of a property at relatively small costs.
Crack Filling
Water is the most destructive element to pavement. Filling or sealing pavement cracks to prevent water from entering the base and sub base will extend the pavement life. Cracks can easily be cleaned out and filled with a variety of flexible crack fillers. Flexible fillers should always be used to fill cracks instead of rigid products since the crack will continue to move even after it is filled.

Asphalt striping helps to keep pavement looking fresh and functional.
Concrete
We offer a variety of concrete services including flatwork, decorative, stamped, and curb and gutter.
Concrete Flatwork
These installations include sidewalks, driveways, patios, entrance aprons, and dumpster pads. We can provide for the needs of both residential and commercial customers with quality installation and performance.
Decorative and Stamped Concrete
These are great options for sidewalks, driveway aprons, and pool decks. We provide various integral color and stamp options.
Curb and Gutter
Ideal for the perimeter of parking lots and drives, concrete curb and gutter defines the edges of pavement and keeps it contained. We can install standard curb and gutter on any commercial or residential property.
Maintenance
Parking areas should be inspected annually to:
- Identify areas that may be failing rapidly and budget/schedule repairs before greater problems develop
- Determine if any low-cost routine work might be justified to improve the property appearance
- Identify areas where surface drainage is being hampered by dirt buildup, debris, high sod along pavement edges or other problems and schedule maintenance
- Assess future capital improvement needs and include in long term budget planning
